Skateboard, paintbrush, cello - it does not matter which one, it matters only that you like it - that you really like it.
That you are dedicated to it, in spite of everything else in your life.
Pick ONE - you do not have time to become expert in two.

Practice it, keep it with you, next to you, touch it all the time, like you would a lover.
Play it like the world ends tomorrow.
Make a video of how you play when you are really good and show us all your creativity on YouTube.

Play your instrument like your hands are on fire and there is no tomorrow!

So take advantage.
