A Simple Love Letter

I could, if I wanted, express my love,
with great words and charm.

I could promise you to keep you from harm.

I could dedicate my heart to you forever more.

I could tell you, "You are the one I adore".

I could say such sweet things to you.

And promise what I can do.

But I think the only thing that is true,

is if I simply say "I love you!".
