The Vision

There was a boy, a very strange enchanted boy. They say he traveled very far, very far, over land and sea. And then one day, he came my way. And this he said to me. "The greatest thing, you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return".

Four by Four

If four people just got up and left the room at the same time, is that a forgone conclusion?

I am not sure, maybe they left because someone said something punny.

If I told this story before would it be foretold?

If I said the same thing to four people would that be four told?

If they all went outside and stood in the sun to cast their shadows on the ground, would that be foreshadowed or four shadowed, even if I had no foreknowledge of the fortunate event?

Before we go any further, I have four things I want to say with fortitude:

  1. 1. Before I knew what America stood for. We used to stand for something good and decent. Now we use four-letter words for everything. What happened?
  2. 2. How could the long-suffering American middle-class be for a billionaire? Many workers, who worked for him on his four failed bankrupt companies, never got paid for the work they did for him.
  3. 3. We only have three, separate, but equal in power, divisions of our government - the legislature (Congress and Senate), the judicial system, and the presidency. There is not a fourth one. We do not have a dictator or king.
  4. 4. America is going the way of four great military empires from previous history - Persia, Rome, Spain, and Britain. They all fell down from the massive efforts they attempted to maintain foreign wars. American is falling down right before our eyes. The solution for this is not a military buildup. That makes the downfall happen faster.

If the first four months of the Trump Presidency feels like four years is his first term now over?

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Abraham Lincoln

There are Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: 1) Conquest; 2) War; 3) Famine, and; 4) Death.

Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it forever. We have been here before. It is time to make a change for the better, for ourselves, for our families, for our countries, for our world, and for all of humanity. That is what we are truly here for.

Here is a nice oldie but goodie song from the Four Tops

Forgive, but don't forget. Forever and for all time, love and compassion are the ways forward.
