The Vision

There was a boy, a very strange enchanted boy. They say he traveled very far, very far, over land and sea. And then one day, he came my way. And this he said to me. "The greatest thing, you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return".

Adrift

I was cast adrift,
a tiny spark of potential in the immense of space and time.
I floated for a dozen forevers as an enigma of the unknown.
Only to find myself where I was before.
Going backwards through the left open doors.

With the eyes of the mind of the dreamer,
who dreams himself asleep,
but finds he can not slumber,
or wonder,
or know anything at all.

It is not really here or there.

Reminding myself of what is truth,
I narrowly avoid dissappearing completely,
when I realize once again,
there is no difference,
between life and death.

It is all but a dream.

And just when I gave up all hope,
in this dream, you suddenly appear
radiantly beautiful,
in your white and crimson cloak.

I am blinded by the flames of love.

And you say you need lots of affection and constant attention.
Where else could I put the endless supply of love I have?

And you like someone strong, who can lead and take charge.

Where would I lead us?
Only where you want to really go.
Even if you are not sure where that is.

How do I know this?
I see it in your eyes,
when they reflect happiness back to me.

That is when I am a certain,
we are on the right path,
in our dream.
